You may remember that when DOMA announced its fall trips, we mentioned taking a serious
amount of aid to babyhouses and orphanages in Ukraine
What difference does 1,000 baby bouncer seats make?
If an orphaned infant spends all their time on their back staring blankly, they
aren't getting a proper view of the world in which they live. Bouncer
seats aid in neurological, emotional, physical, and relational
development. They give a child an upright view of their surroundings,
provide opportunity for eye-contact and interaction with peers and
caretakers. They are fun and soothing - they play music and
vibrate. And they give a child an opportunity for exercise - for using
their necks, arms, and legs to interact with their world.
DOMA believes in early
intervention and crisis prevention. By investing in children while they
are young, before further tragedies create greater decay and desapir, we can
see a generation grow up with hope and possibility. We belive that care
and compassion is more contagious than disease and despair. daniel@domaconnection.org
