responsibility to cover only our actual cost for the team, which is $500 per
participant (registration, coaching, spaghetti dinner, team shirts, etc.)
We strongly encourage you to still try to raise $2500!
Here are some examples of what you can provide around the world when you Team Up:
*one year of support for a Ukrainian mom to be reunited with an infant that she
abandoned to an infant home out of desperation.
*medicine and vitamins for a traveling clinic that would serve thousands of
orphaned and vulnerable children and moms in
*one year of support for a Russian orphan who has become pregnant, yet courageously
chosen to keep her baby, and is striving to have a healthy family.
*6 months of food for 100 orphaned and vulnerable children in
Please don’t let the DISTANCE deter you. Runners and walkers of all shapes, sizes and abilities are invited to Team Up. You can run or walk the ½ marathon (13.1 miles). Or you can choose to run or walk the Commit to Be Fit 5k (3.1 miles). When you Team Up you will have access to a world-class coach, Lisa Rainsberger, who will help you prepare for a great race day.

When people started talking about making poverty history, I was skeptical and thought it just clever marketing. But since I'm hopeful and an optimist (my wife would say I'm an idealist), I embraced this goal. We have spent much our time, energy, and resources working with the poor around the world. Is anything that any of us are doing actually making a difference? Well, for the optimists among us, here's some encouragement to keep up the good work. For the pessimists among us, turn that frown upside down. World poverty is falling.

So, are you one of those e-words? If so, what does the e-word mean to you? In addition to these questions, Grossman also asks, if you do consider yourself an evangelical, could your umbrella also shelter people with different political or social views, even if you agree on Jesus? What do evangelicals have to agree on to be considered evangelicals?
Currently Doma is working with a couple small organizations on the ground in Haiti. We are planning and strategizing and communicating all in preparation for a medical team to go to Haiti from February 6-13. Doctors and nurses are desperately needed, especially those with experience and training in trauma, orthopedics, and anesthesiology. Join us on January 30th as Doma launches Project Green Light. Green Light exists to create safe communities to those who are victims of and vulnerable to human trafficking. At this meeting, you will hear from the Green Light leadership team about how your church, business, or organization can become a Green Light Community, including the different opportunities where you can personally volunteer or contribute. You will learn how your time and willingness can impact homeless youth (the most vulnerable to human trafficking) in Columbus and surrounding areas as well as adults vulnerable to human trafficking. When we join our resources together to become Green Light Communities, safer places exist for our children and more stabile environments allow for healthy development. Let's mobilize. And please share this opportunity with your friends, family, and associates that may have an interest in this area also.
